Vietjet Launches HCM City-Vân Đồn Flight

HCM CITY — Budget airline Vietjet on Sunday launched a new service linking HCM City and Vân Đồn Island in the northern province of Quảng Ninh.

The new route connects the largest city of Việt Nam with Quảng Ninh’s attractive island, meeting high demand for air travel of locals and tourists, as well as contributing to trade of the nation’s northeast region, Vietjet said in a statement.

The HCM City-Vân Đồn route operates return flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flight time is about two hours and 15 minutes per leg. The flight departs from HCM City at 7.00am. The return flight takes off in Vân Đồn at 9.50am.
