HCM CITY —  IHG Hotels & Resorts debuts its first resort under its upper luxury brand, Regent Hotels & Resorts, in South East Asia with the opening of Regent Phu Quoc, its first resort in Việt Nam, on April 19.

Located off the southwest coast of Việt Nam alongside a UNESCO-designated World Biosphere Reserve, the all-suites-and-villas resort is a stone’s throw from the water’s edge along Long Beach. Exceptional design and state-of-the-art technology will be delivered alongside the brand’s legendary hospitality for a seamless guest journey.

“We are delighted to introduce Regent’s renowned hospitality to Việt Nam and look forward to welcoming guests to experience the inimitable island jewel that is Phu Quoc," said Juan Losada, general manager of Regent Phu Quoc.

Regent Phu Quoc will surely be a brand-defining resort in Việt Nam and South East Asia that will deliver a genuinely captivating interpretation of the Regent experience, marrying the calming, the imaginative and the extravagant.”

Hidden beneath the shade of swaying palm trees, Regent Phu Quoc features 176 suites and 126 villas that echo traditional Vietnamese vernacular and contemporarily designed interiors with a soothing colour palette.

At Regent Phu Quoc, guests can expect to experience the brand’s distinctive new hallmarks, from Personal Havens, such as a signature bath ritual within the villa, to compliments that provide daily beverages and gourmet snacks from the Refreshment Gallery, along with a complimentary daily breakfast buffet at the Rice Market, pressing and laundry as well as an unpacking service.

Rice Market offers locally-inspired and reinvented classic dishes of Vietnamese Chinese cuisine expertly crafted in bustling live kitchens. The only luxury beach club in Phu Quoc, Ocean Club, features local and Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails, a sophisticated wine selection, and a live in-house DJ.

Decorated with curated art, the Lobby Lounge is a relaxing foyer parlour serving refreshments, speciality coffees, fresh teas, signature cocktails and much more, and Fu Bar is an exclusive sky pool terrace and bar.

Creative indoor and outdoor event spaces in an intimate setting with spectacular views will provide unique locations for meetings, social gatherings and weddings.

Spa and fitness centres are also available for guests to experience exceptional relaxing and wellness services throughout their stay.

On the opening, Regent Phu Quoc unveils “A Spellbinding Discovery” experience to guests, introducing the timeless island retreat filled with natural beauty and endless possibilities to witness a legend reborn on Phu Quoc.

Guests will enjoy a range of exceptional features, including chauffeured arrival and departure transfers; early check-in from 8am and late check-out up to 8pm; breakfast, complimentary drinks and snacks as part of a minimum two-night stay.

“A Spellbinding Discovery” awaits at Regent Phu Quoc with room rates from USD 361 onwards.
