HÀ NỘI — Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam (MMV) will recall 88 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports cars manufactured from May 11 to July 18, 2015 to repair and replace their door locks.

According to the Department of Competition and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the cars will be recalled by MMV maintenance service agents from now to January 13, 2021.

MMV will provide free replacement of door locks for recalled Mitsubishi Outlander Sport cars, which is estimated to take about 1-2 hours each.

A representative from the company said the internal lock function may not work properly.

To protect the legitimate rights and interests of customers, MMV recommended consumers quickly visit the company’s authorised agents for assistance and replacement of car door locks.

Customers could contact MMV authorised service agents directly or call 0903 999 141 or email service-dept@mitsubishi-motors.com.vn.

They also could call the department’s hotline 1800–6838 from 8:30 to 11:30 or 14:00 to 16:30 except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. — VNS
