HÀ NỘI — Digital retailer Digiworld JSC has announced its total revenue rose 56 per cent year on year in 2018 to VNĐ5.94 trillion (US$255.5 million).

Of the figure, sales of laptops and tablets contributed VNĐ2.4 trillion, up 6 per cent year on year, and cellphone sales reached VNĐ2.35 trillion, up 213 per cent year on year.

Sales of office equipment and home appliances reached VNĐ1.11 trillion and VNĐ75 billion.

The company reported its post-tax profit gained 39 per cent year on year to VNĐ109 billion.

The company beat its full-year revenue and profit forecasts by 25 per cent and 8 per cent.

Revenue and post-tax profits for the fourth quarter of 2018 were VNĐ1.56 trillion and VNĐ31.7 billion. Both figures increased by 43 per cent year on year.

In 2019, Digiworld is targeting VNĐ7.15 trillion in revenue, up 20 per cent from 2018, and VNĐ137 billion in post-tax profit, up 25 per cent. — VNS
