Bamboo Airways To Launch More Round-trip Flights In February

Viet Nam News

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s new budget carrier Bamboo Airways has announced that it will launch three new air routes between HCM City-Vinh, Hà Nội-Vinh, and Vinh-Buôn Mê Thuột, with at least seven round-trip flights per week from February 23.

The Vinh-Đà Lạt flight service will also be launched on February 27 with four round-trip flights per week.

Prices will start at VNĐ149,000 (US$6.4), exclusive of taxes and fees.

The airline plans to operate 37-40 air routes this year, contributing to promoting trade and tourism between regions.

Earlier, Bamboo Airways launched flights between Hà Nội-Quy Nhơn, Hà Nội-Nha Trang, Hà Nội-Đà Nẵng, Hà Nội-Đồng Hới, Hà Nội-Phú Quốc, Hà Nội-Buôn Mê Thuột, Hà Nội-HCM City, HCM City-Vân Đồn, and HCM City-Thanh Hóa.

The carrier will also offer flights to Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and some European countries this year.

Within the US, the airline is considering launching direct air routes to Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in late 2020 or early 2021, following the US Federal Aviation Administration’s granting a Category 1 status to Việt Nam, which has set the stage for Vietnamese airlines to serve US destinations. — VNS
