Hotel Royal Hội An – MGallery Named As Best Luxury Honeymoon Hotel In Việt Nam

HỘI AN — Hotel Royal Hội An – MGallery was named by the World Luxury Hotel Awards as the Best Luxury Honeymoon Hotel in Việt Nam at a ceremony in Rovaniemi, Finland on October 12.

“To be recognised in this year's awards is testament to the thoughtful service and authentic local experiences we deliver to our guests every day. We are humbled with the accolade and look forward to delivering even greater levels of memorable experience to our guests who stay with us,” said Michiel Lugt, the hotel’s General Manager.

Voting was cast by hotel guests, tour operators and travel agents based on hotel facilities and service excellence, making the process fair and unbiased. This award marked outstanding achievements of the hotel over the past year.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards was established in 2006 to recognise the worldwide luxury hotel industry and legendary hotels with respect to overall service excellence. The award is positioned as the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels worldwide.

The hotel recently welcomed Michiel Lugt as its new General Manager. Lugt joins the hotel from the multi-award winning Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi where he was the Resort Manager. Previous positions include Resident Manager at Kanuhura Maldives and Resort Manager at The Slate in Phuket, Thailand.

Opened in 2014, the iconic 187-room boutique hotel has already been named as the Luxury Historical Hotel in Việt Nam for 2 consecutive years (2016 and 2017), Luxury Romantic Hotel in Southeast Asia in 2018 by the World Luxury Hotel Awards, Elegant Boutique Hotel of the Year in Việt Nam by Luxury Travel Guide 2018, Best Romantic Hotel in Việt Nam. Its rooftop bar, The Deck Hội An, also was honored as Most Unique Experience in Việt Nam and Best Romantic Atmosphere in Việt Nam by Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Award 2018. — VNS
