Vietcombank Completes Selling 7.6 Million Shares Of Vietnam Airlines

According to information from the Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB), the bank has successfully sold 7.6 million HVN shares of Vietnam Airlines Joint Stock Corporation. The transaction was carried out from January 25th to February 8th through order matching method. After the transaction, Vietcombank reduced its holdings in HVN from over 22.4 million shares, accounting for 1.83 percent of charter capital to 14.8 million shares, equivalent to 1.21 percent of charter capital.

In the past month, HVN share price tended to fall from 67,300 dong per share on January 23rd to 53,000 dong per share in the morning session of February 26th, equivalent to an over 21 percent decline. Recently, Vietcombank’s Board of directors has issued Resolution on approving the 2018 annual general meeting (AGM). Accordingly, the meeting is expected to be held on Friday, April 27th 2018 at National Convention Centre. The final registration date for exercising the right to attend the AGM is March 15th 2018.
