SHB Approved To Set Up Five More Branches And 20 Transaction Offices

The State Bank Governor has just issued documents No.1105 and 1106/ NHNN-TTGSNH on approval of the establishment of five branches and 20 transaction offices by Saigon-Hanoi Joint Stock Commercial Bank (SHB).

Specifically, HSB is allowed to set up Son La branch at Group 11, Cach Mang 26/8 street, Chieng Le ward, Son La city, Son La province; Hai Duong branch on Nguyen Luong Bang street, Thanh Binh ward, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province; Nam Dinh branch at No.79, Nguyen Du street, Nguyen Du ward, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province; Binh Thuan branch at A29, Vo Van Kiet street, Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province; Vinh Long branch at 3F-3G, Hung Dao Vuong street, Ward No.1, Vinh Long city, Vinh Long province.

At the same time, SHB is allowed to establish the following transaction offices: Thuan Thanh and Dong Ky transaction offices (directly under Bac Ninh branch); Bu Dang and Chon Thanh transaction offices (directly under Binh Phuoc branch); Ward 2 transaction office (directly under Ca Mau branch); Sa December and Hong Ngu transaction offices (directly under Dong Thap branch); Dak Doa transaction office (directly under Gia Lai branch); Cam Duong transaction office (directly under Lao Cai branch); Long Phu transaction office (directly under Soc Trang branch), Le Hong Phong and Tien Hai transaction offices (directly under Thai Binh branch); Pho Yen and Luong Ngoc Quyen transaction offices (directly under Thai Nguyen ranch); Quang Trung transaction office (directly under Thanh Hoa branch); Go Cong and Cai Be transaction offices (directly under Tien Giang branch); Phan Thiet transaction office (directly under Tuyen Quang branch); Tam Diep transaction office (directly under Ninh Binh branch), and Phu Bai transaction office (directly under Hue branch).

The SBV Governor’s documents state that SHB is responsible for carrying out the procedures for the opening of operations, registration and publication of the establishment of the branches and transaction offices in the above-mentioned documents as prescribed about the network of commercial banks and relevant provisions of law.

Within 12 months from the signing date of this document, SHB has to operate the approved branches and transaction offices. Passing this time limit, the written approval of the State Bank shall automatically expire.
