Reference Exchange Rate Up 8 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted the daily reference exchange rate up 8 VND to 22,438 VND/USD on February 13.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,111 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,767 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at major commercials banks saw slight increases from February 12.

Vietcombank raised both rates by 10 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,670 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,740 VND/USD.

The rates at Vietinbank also went up by 10 VND, with the buying rate listed as 22,668 VND/USD and the selling rate 22,738 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, BIDV kept both rates unchanged, buying the greenback at 22,660 VND/USD and selling at 22,730 VND/USD.
