Reference Exchange Rate Up 11 VND On May 28

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,271 VND per USD on May 28, up 11 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,969 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,573 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:25am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,200 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,410 VND/USD, unchanged from May 27.

At BIDV, both rates were revised down 10 VND to 23,230 VND/USD (buying), and 23,410 VND/USD (selling).

Techcombank also adjusted both rates up 16 VND to 23,210 VND/USD (buying), and 23,410 VND/USD (selling)./.
