Reference Exchange Rate Up 10 Dong

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on February 23 revised the daily reference exchange rate up by 10 dong from the previous day to 22,443 dong/US dollar.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,116 dong/US dollar and the floor rate 21,772 dong/US dollar.

The opening hour rates at major commercials banks continued to increase.

Vietcombank listed the greenback at 22,685 dong/US dollar (buying) and 22,755 dong/US dollar (selling), up five dong in both rates compared to yesterday.

The buying price at Vietinbank was 22,695 dong/US dollar and the selling price was 22,765 dong/US dollar, up 13 dong in both rates compared to the same period of yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, BIDV bought the greenback at 22,685 dong/US dollar and sold it at 22,755 dong/US dollar, up 15 dong in both rates from yesterday.
