Reference Exchange Rate Remains Unchanged

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,455 dong/US dollar on March 26, remaining unchanged from the end of last week.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks during the day is 23,133 dong/US dollar and the floor rate 21,789 dong/US dollar.

The greenback price slightly fluctuated at commercial banks.

Vietcombank offered the buying rate at 22,760 dong/US dollar and the selling rate at 22,830 dong/US dollar, both up 10 dong from the end of last week.

BIDV added 15 dong to both rates, listing the buying rate at 22,760 dong/US dollar and the selling rate at 22,830 dong/US dollar.

Meanwhile, the rates listed at Vietinbank fell 75 dong to 22,676 dong/US dollar (buying) and 22,746 dong/US dollar (selling).
