Reference Exchange Rate Down 2 Dong

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,620 dong/US dollar on June 22, down two dong from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,298 dong/US dollar and the floor rate is 21,944 dong/US dollar.

The opening hour rates at major commercial banks continued to go up.

Vietcombank listed the buying price at 22,860 dong/US dollar and selling price at 22,930 dong/US dollar, up 30 dong compared to yesterday.

BIDV added 30 dong to both rates, buying the greenback at 22,860 and selling at 22,930 dong/US dollar compared to June 21.

Meanwhile, Techcombank adjusted up the buying price by 30 dong and the selling price by 20 dong from the previous day, listing at 22,840-22,930 dong/US dollar respectively.
