Reference Exchange Rate Adjusted Down On June 6

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,567 VND/USD on June 6, down 4 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,244 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,890 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks also went down compared to June 5.

Vietcombank is listing the buying rate at 22,775 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,845 VND/USD, both down 10 VND.

The rates at BIDV were also cut by 10 VND to 22,775 VND/USD (buying) and 22,845 VND/USD (selling).

At Techcombank, the greenback is being bought at 22,755 VND/USD and sold at 22,845 VND/USD, down 10 VND from June 5.

This week, the daily reference exchange rate was adjusted up on Monday (June 4) and maintained unchanged on Tuesday before going down today.
