Liberty Insurance & Tiki Partner In Online Insurance

Non-life insurer to boost online sales by working with e-commerce platform.

Liberty Insurance has announced it will cooperate with Vietnamese e-commerce platform Tiki to provide more convenience and attractive benefits to customers, as part of the insurer’s plan to confirm its leading position in the non-life insurance market through associations with partners to expand online insurance.

As the leading insurance company in simplifying procedures and providing the most transparent and convenient services for customers, Liberty Insurance’s cooperation with Tiki will see the distribution of its products to customers via e-commerce channels.

Customers can now take out a Liberty Insurance policy on Tiki.vn easily, quickly, conveniently, and transparently. The first product in the partnership is TravelCare, with customers entitled to a 40 per cent discount on premiums when taking out a TravelCare policy on Tiki.

They can also choose from multiple insurance packages costing from only $1 per day to enjoy benefits such as treatment costs for illness or injury abroad and around Vietnam, the cost of relatives visiting abroad, compensation for cancelled or postponed trips, lost or misplaced luggage, lost money or personal documents, and loss or damage from fire to their residence in Vietnam while travelling. The travel insurance product has competitive premiums and the broadest range of benefits.

With this cooperation, TravelCare will be the first travel insurance product in Vietnam that can be purchased through an e-commerce platform.

“Liberty Vietnam is a leading insurance company in simplifying applications and providing the most transparent and convenient services for customers when using comprehensive protection products for their lives, both in terms of direct ownership and through online payment channels or banking,” said Nguyen Ngoc Duc, director of Direct Distribution, Renewal and Corporate Marketing at Liberty Vietnam.

“Tiki is one of the most prestigious and reliable partners to jointly realise insurance trends in the 4.0 era, bringing a superior experience to consumers. I believe customers will welcome this cooperation as well as feel that owning Liberty’s insurance products is simple, easy, and quick.”

Liberty Vietnam and Tiki will soon introduce other online insurance products, with a desire to make insurance simple and more widespread in the country.

Through the new partnership, Liberty Insurance affirms its leading position in covering all online channels, bringing insurance closer to consumers and affirming that taking out insurance is extremely convenient and simple anytime anywhere.

Prior to its cooperation with Tiki, in demonstrating its insurtech strategy (using technological innovations to take advantage of savings and efficiencies from the insurance industry model), Liberty Vietnam was a pioneer in cooperating with leading fintech partners in Vietnam such as MoMo, Timo, and Zalo.
