AIA Vietnam Revenues Grows By 40pct In The First 8 Months

At the ceremony to announce the business with the ideal working environmentGreat Place To Work(R) of AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd (AIA Vietnam), Wayne Besant, general director of AIA Vietnam, said that after more than four years working in Vietnam, this was a year of outstanding growth of AIA.

This is confirmed by the revenue in the first eight months of 2019 that increased by 40 percent compared to the same period last year. In particular, the proportion of revenue through agent channels accounts for 75 percent and via bank (bancassurance) accounts for 25 percent.

In particular, the rate of leapfrog at AIA Vietnam is quite low, there are people who have been working for the company for more than 20 years.

Answering the question about the average income of employees when AIA Vietnam received the award for the ideal working environment for the second consecutive year from August 2019 to July 2020, Wayne Besant believed that the income of employees at the company would be guaranteed as well as the commitment of the best working environment of the leadership.

“We think that wages, spirit and the working environment must be balanced. The problem is how the employee is attached to the workplace for a long time. The result of this right strategy is the fact that AIA Group is the only life insurance group in five consecutive years that have the number of members of the “million-dollar round table club” leading the world”, Wayne Besant emphasized.

Great Place To Work(R) has a major influence in building global corporate culture. In 2018, there were 152 organisations participating in the Great Place To Work(R) assessment in Hong Kong, Macao, China and Taiwan, but only 36 organisations achieved this certification.

AIA Vietnam has given specific evidence about the philosophy and practice of talent recruitment through the “Cultural Audit” about five important factors in the working environment: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie.
